Research Task Magazine Stand

In class we were all instructed to find news stands which had music magazines. This would help us analyse the different factors of distributing magazines and how they are presented in public. For this picture that I took I went to Whsmiths which had a huge variety of music magazines which was quite beneficial. The mastheads were perhaps the first thing that caught my attention because of the use of bright colours help attract the reader immediately. Then the other conventions of the media magazine are visible such as the skyline, use of images or image, barcode and the price isn't as visible because it is placed differently.

Distribution of magazines:
Applications on our phones could be beneficial as its easily accessible.
Helps extend into gigs and other events which will help the magazine gain a larger audience as its interacting with a large amount of people.
